KMTA provides opportunities for newer teachers to learn from veterans who are willing to share their experience through the KMTA Association Partner program (for newer members getting acquainted with KMTA), and the Teaching Mentor program (for teachers seeking new ideas about teaching and/or studio management).

- The KMTA Teaching Mentor program seeks to improve the quality of independent music teaching and studio management in Kitsap County by creating a database of experienced and certified independent music teachers who may share their expertise with other music teachers. Program Description
