Kitsap Young Musicians Festival

The Kitsap Young Musicians Festival is a day of recitals by students from beginning to advanced levels. Students performing on any instrument are welcome, including solos, duets, and ensembles. KMTA teachers are welcome to enter students as well as non-member teachers at the non-member rate.

This year’s main festival will be held at St. Antony of Egypt Episcopal Church in Silverdale on Saturday, November 4th. There will be five recital times: 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:30 PM, 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM.

Registration is open on Sign Up Genius.  A link to the sign-up is available to members on the Member Only Page. TEACHERS will reserve spots for their students by time slot. Recital time slots will remain open until 60 minutes of performance time is reached and then that time slot will automatically close. Sign up early for a guaranteed time slot of your student’s choice!

The registration fees are $8/student or $40/ensemble of 5 or more. Non-members pay an additional $10 fee.

Registration will close on Saturday, October 14th. On October 15, you’ll receive a form to complete and return to me, listing program information for your students. One easy, standard Excel form for each studio! This form will be due back to me via email by Saturday, October 21. Adding sign-ups or switching times is NOT an option after October 14. After October 14, you will be responsible for registration fees for all students for whom time has been reserved, even if they do not attend the festival.

Payment: You’ll receive an invoice with your program information form. You may mail your payment to KMTA, c/o Jane Melin, P.O. Box 1012, Kingston WA 98346, or give it to Jane at our chapter meeting on November 10. You may also give your check to me (Krista Seely) at KYMF on November 4.

Permission and Liability waivers are required for all student performers. Forms will be online only and must be completed by a parent or legal guardian BEFORE the festival. One form can be used for all members of a family. Here is the link to share with the parents or guardians of all students you register:
